Narrator:
It was Sunday morning. Mary helped Tom get ready for Sunday school.

Mary:
"Tom, you learned your lesson well. Here is a brand-new knife for you."

Tom:
"Wow! Thank you, Mary! It is beautiful."

Narrator:
Tom washed his face and put on his clean clothes. But he didn't like his Sunday clothes. Then, he went to school. He wanted a big prize, but he didn't have enough tickets. So, he traded his toys with other boys for their colourful tickets.

Narrator:
Soon, he had many tickets. He showed them to the teacher, Mr. Walters.

Mr. Walters:
"I am surprised, Tom! Here is your prize—a beautiful Bible."

Narrator:
Then, Judge Thatcher visited the school. He asked Tom a question.

Judge:
"Tom, who were the first two disciples?"

Tom:
"David and Goliath!"

Narrator:
Oh, no! That was wrong. Everyone was surprised.
